As daevryn has made clear the imms just don't actively enforcee fair play policies, even ones they have established to curb anti fair play behavior. Because the imms have given up this responsibility the only tool we as players have to try and achieve a level playing field is to apply e-social preassure to the parties to get them to change their behavior.

Do you think the change in behavior from full looting every kill to most people leaving most things most of the time happened because of imm involvement? Hell no it happened because as a social group we made it clear that was not kosher and people fell in line or risked being ostracized. Taking ic things to an ooc forum is a safety mechanism if you want to criticise it then you as administrators need to pick up the slack.

Personally I don't think the imms should be heavily and directly involved in this sort of policing all the time because frankly it will just wind up getting them flamed but as long as we have a secondary outlet for this kind of release we are ok.
