I'm new to invokers (and mages in general) and I was looking
through the edge lists for invokers and wondering if affinity
plays a part in being able to take any of the edges. Is anyone
able to shed some light on this? I have affinities ranging from
4 to 8 and I may have shut myself out from a bunch of edges
that look pretty cool to play around with. Thanks!

Yes, many invoker edges have affinity requirements. I don't know which ones or what the requirements are offhand, but I want to say a lot of the affinity requirements are 8. I could be wrong on that though.

As an example, I think absolute zero edge may require a minimum affinity in ice magic.
