Well, I had three of the seven and tried to get involved. I am not sure if that is just the way you reacted to me or if you were basically saying I can't get involved and that your little henchmen would kill me and full loot me and bring you my stuff. Either way I know I tried and got shut down, kinda rough.
18, Outlanders role...

Not that I'll be playing another anytime soon, but per some immortal advice I tried (early on) to get involved in this one and was presented with the choice of beat down wolves who are trashing a town, or side extraplanar beings...

I forget the second part I tried to get in one, but it was more or less the same. After that I just sort of gave up. I'm all for stopping demons from running amok, but do they really need to employ natural beasts and attack towns/cabals that I want destroyed?

I'm sure it's difficult in and of itself to craft a quest like this, but if at all possible I would appreciate if all factors were included in such a way that everyone can "pick a side" or alternatively have little enough information that they can do stuff they think is "right" which afterward may have put them on the completely wrong side of the coin. Did we really *need* to know Demons were behind the sacking of the cities? Marans would have helped anyway (protect innocent blah blah).

Anyway, well done from what I saw, just wish I could come up with any way I could have been involved. I was really trying to think of a justification one way or another...

Very hard to come up with a quest that fits everyone's perspective and that everyone can justify a reason to get involved. From what I saw there was almost every faction there and represented and justified in some way.

I did see a lowbie Outtie there who was cheering for the wolves. You didn't necessarily have to involve yourself with the Demons perse..but you could have rose up against those who were getting involved.

The first night was ruled by Tribunal so I could have definitely seen some Outlander interference going on.

*shrug*

I understand that it is hard. Neither of those stop me from being completely selfish.

I could have "rose up" against those involved. I considered it early on, but the demon info was first so I'd already decided: Be anti-demon justify it later. But seeing as how the wolves were attacking me, were under the influence of extraplanar beings, and I was outnumbered like 10 to 1... It would have been suicide. Also, the first night ended up with like 4 or 5 empire heros wrecking shop if I remember correctly (and I do). Even if I had tried to join the wolves solely for the sake of town burning I wouldn't have accomplished anything. I mean I can't imagine there was even a contingency for if the wolves couldn't be controlled/beaten back. I wouldn't be so bitter if it wasn't for being bitter normally and then feeling both of the recent quests were more or less anti-Outlander involvement.

I dunno I like the quests, I think their cool. I like what you are trying to do here, but I just wanted to voice my Outlander perspective.

For instance in a Nautilas vs Hamsah war (guessing at most recent quest stuff), Outlander has a clear cut side (which is probably against everyone else) but if you make the Nautilas undead or something like that.. you've just completely screwed them.
17, I'm a bit miffed myself

I went through a good bit of effort to drum up some enthusiasm in the cabal for the quest, I got a decent answer, collected a few items.. and got completly ignored.
I understand there is a dwarf in the fortress who is also equally as miffed.
20, I'll apologize for inconsistency

Hopefully in the future we'll have a bit more consistence with the concept of..Poison Pen posts on Forum and/or in game. The NEXT day..something will happen.

Holidays kind of futzorred my schedule and things didn't go as they were scheduled to go.

Unfortunately..some people were holding the items we needed...Fortunately..there were others holding the same items.

I honestly think the guys who got the 'win'. (Nexus) did do a lot to contribute to it and deserved what they got.

22, We ended up with seven of the eleven items.

I don't think anyone could have beat that, but it would have been possible for a tie. Had Ebiwen been around we would have eight of the eleven. We didn't get the ring, talisman, or stone so, I'm pretty sure we were the (winners) no matter who showed up.

The Fortress had quite a few, and I was keeping tabs on the others. If the people I sent after you had actually succeeded in getting some of the items, it would have been a lot more even. Of course, I realized after you won that it wasn't necessary for it to be even, but someone managed to convince me that the Nexus was not going to send the Demons back to the Abyss.
