I couldn't fairly say what really got me started. It's been a long time. Let's say a desire to make and play a better game.

My earliest contributions were in the form of game mechanics / balance changes. I spit out a lot of ideas and for the most part they seemed initially to be ignored; eventually I realized that the Powers that Be had come to decide I wasn't a complete tool and had started implementing some of them.

Since then, I go through phases. Sometimes I'm into area writing, sometimes quests, sometimes running a cabal and/or religion and doing that kind of interactiony thing, sometimes I want to do a big project like a revamp, sometimes I want to implement smaller projects or just fix up existing code. Sometimes I just want to play one or more really cool/fun mortals. ;)

It's been a while since I took the test, but I want to say it ranked me in order: Killer, Explorer, Socializer, Achiever. The whole achiever paradigm doesn't much appeal to me, but I enjoy the other three aspects a lot, with some characters exemplifying one more than the other two.
