I played quite alot for one summer ('99 I think it was, after I finished military service).. I really loved the sport, and was intent on keeping it up the following years.

Then I went away to study, schoolwork and sports were replaced by cf, parties (my sporting activities shrunk from almost daily to once a month or so..)

Anyway back to golf, I play like three times a year with my dad / brother that are golf fanatics (both around 5 hcp), the major reason I don't play more is that I suck.. because I don't play enough, it's like an evil circle I can't break.. Oh, and my hcp is 24, but I haven't lowered it in like 6 or 7 years :(

My hadicap is 8. I play atleast once a week, and usually twice.

Played any good courses?

Played once at the Woodlands TPC in Houston. (Shell Houston Open course)

Won a golfing trip to King's North in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Played at Disney World.

Played Tour18 (www.tour18golf.com)

Been playing since I was around 14, so about fourteen years now. There's about four courses that I rotate playing at locally, and I'm always down for "golf trips" to play other courses, though being married/having children has cut into that drastically. Especially since greens fees seem to do nothing but continually go up.

I've just started playing again with normal frequency this year... try to play once a week. Shooting around 95 now depending on the difficulty of the course, but my iron game is horrid and I've been tinkering with my swing a lot lately.

Played Hunt Valley Country Club in Maryland on Monday in a charity tournament - beautiful course, very hilly and scenic, but its ultra-private. It was a drunken clusterf-ck, but hey it was for charity. Was great fun until my cart flipped down a hill and landed on top of me. That sobered me right up. Ow.
