That post was layered with so much NRA-style propoganda and strange naivitee toward European gun laws I'm not sure I want to touch it.
But I have to say, you're going to be wrong on both counts. Largely, because Europe was well armed post WW1. And the one country that's ALWAYS been heavy on anti-gun Law (Britain) was never invaded.
