And I think that's where most of the angst comes from. Hell, I could SEE you and I couldn't really do anything, and that's saying a lot coming from a duergar polearm spec. That one time I came after you in Galadon was because I figured "#### it, I'm sick of dancing around this, lets see what happens", and of course I got knocked out by a trap, mind controlled, and lost all of my weapons and containers. That part I didn't mind, I know why you did it, you would be a fool to leave a polearm spec his weapons as a thief if you planned on fighting him, and I knew that you did it because you wanted to FIGHT me and not just mess with me.

And I just knew that if a duergar polearm spec was that frustrated, then the rest of the playerbase was probably literally tearing their hair out when they knew you were online. What added to the frustration was that I knew that you were a good player and the chances were very unlikely that there would not be traps around if I were to spot you. So my options boiled down to: A) Run in, hope nothing fires, and then run away like a pansy when I'm under the affect of forget or B) Just avoid you. Obviously, I opted for B, since Quog blood wasn't really an option for me most of the time.

I think most of the ire comes from the the mechanics of your class/build, and not the player itself. You were never pompous or vindictive when you knew you had the upper hand, but the combo just made it "un-fun" for the rest of us. I don't blame you, I don't blame the imms, it's just the way it came out.

As far as your statements about the misinformation about your paths? I never saw anything like that, nor did I even think something shady was going on. It seemed to me from the start that you went all out in two paths and discarded every other possible skill. Perhaps I just ignored the posts about it on Dio's or here or wherever it was where people were complaining about that specifically.

Kudos to you for trying something different and succeeding with it. The funny thing is, I don't think a lot of people will try to copycat it since it seems like you had to give up a lot of very nice skills to achieve what you wanted.
