99592, My most deadly enemy

Flaaayin was someone I never wanted to fight, because I knew it would never end well for me. However, I did enjoy having you as a nemesis because it forced me to come out of my comfort zone -- since you were wanted and my role-play dictates that I would attempt to do something about that.

When you sacced my container, I had no problem with it at all, since I was indeed trying to get my potions out of it and wondering what the hell had happened to them. Then I saw my stuff on the floor but I couldn't use my aliases to grab the stuff and so on. So tactically I completely understand why you did it. Also, you left all my non-magic contents alone after I eventually had to bail, which demonstrated to me that you were not out to grief me. The downside was that I nearly starved to death because I couldn't gather another container properly when under all your poisons and barely made it to a food source before I ran out of moves.

However, there was a reason I didn't wear my container, and that's because I didn't want you stealing what I was wearing instead of the container.

That fight in the High Lord's was exciting too (despite me having no skills and relying entirely on gear), since that was the only one where the rng almost won the day for me. I did ask the other person involved to mental jolt me when they were attacked, so that I could word them and then take you on before the forget kicked in. Unfortunately they panicked and their only spell was to word themselves. Then forget kicked in and we know what happened from there. I was equally to blame for dying because I was ready with "get 1.;wi 1." in the command buffer, but I removed it literally the second before you made me throwdown in order to ready a spell because forget was soon to wear off. Then I mistyped and grabbed 2. instead of 1., forget kicked in without a break from the previous effect, and it was all over. Thanks for returning the vast majority of my gear. The little bit of regearing necessary gave me the chance to show the other guy a few new places in the mud so it was time well spent. And the irony is, that was the first fight I had with you when I was wearing a container and it had all the potions I could possibly want in it, and you fled for long enough for me to use them. But instead I typed murder and blew that chance.

I really liked the way you wove the Quaggoth into your role. Unfortunately when you jumped that mage in there I was just typing in a suggestion that one of us stand guard outside while the other got the Quaggoth to the verge of death, precisely to prevent an ambush by you. But you got there first.

So having given all the props to the character, I have to say "bleh to poisons". Normal poisons don't affect me much because of various edges and cures. Your poisons worked on me all the time. It's like they don't all count as being poison or something, but at the same time, they do seem to, because immunity to poison works. It feels like something is broken to me, which is not to take anything away from you because you were indeed deadly in my eyes and not at all a tool.

It was also good to see that the villager with the greatest opportunity to create situations in which to gang did not do this from what I saw, whereas others were finding every excuse to gank. For me, the highlight was defending alone against three outlanders and having Jikahl run in and jump me when I was deafened (by spirit howl), plagued and low on mana, then having to listen to some incredibly bizarre tells. And while the beserker does this, the defender pounds me solo over and over.
