All of that is fair and I agree with that (the interaction).

The note was actually meant to further Thror's quest. I didn't know how to get a hold of the Drow Weaponmaster of which I have had previous interactions with and arrangements. I'm not sure how much I should talk about it, so I won't but that note wasn't me asking for special treatment, it was me informing the Drow Weaponmaster of our arrangement and that it was accomplished. Had no other way of communicating that and it had been so long since he showed his head again.

I did try to do what is best for the village (in my eyes) regardless of who I stepped on. And you are absolutely right, I was a very different Drillmaster in a lot of ways. Mixing chaotic evil sphere deception with Drillmaster created quite a different ball of wax than what was usual.
