FWIW he did come to retrieve the Codex from outlander once and got ganged down by Quird, Sulye and a dagger spec. Of course, he had Hanstian there spamming "get whip corpse" the whole time.

Its also possible he didn't know one (or more) of us were online, and might not have come if he had. I don't recall the exact details leading up to that fight.
