I assassinated you with Sarmas east of balator on that trail. You thought I was your friend but i was actually stalking you trying to get a shot at you for that nice stuff you had. Dukreg walked in just as I was whiping your blood off my sword. I thought he would attack me but he goes..."Shhhhh, i dont want to know".

He shared in the spoils and i bet he said I took it all :) I wonder if the imms noticed that. I gave Dukreg one of your axes to shut him up and it worked. And the imms said i didnt RP...hehe :P
44717, Man i remember that set!
Posted by Cuucqa on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Yeah I knew you couldn't be trusted, and knew there were other assassins there, but the chance I took to take out someone in the fields was too good to pass up. I paid the price.
I remember the set, I had been naked a while before and someone got beat down infront of me so I had lots of space to loot. That just how cabal wars go, your up, your down. I think I had a 64 dam roll at that point so you were lucky you got me =0)

Well in Hell actually.

Well what to say. 424 hours seemed too too short!
Thanks to Blademaster Gloves and lots of withers *Fistshake to Hrugald, Levan, Qing and others*

The Cuu was a blast. I had no idea what to roll at the time, but I
had some free day hours thanks to some changed job responsibilities
and low and behold a mino appeared. I joined the Empire pretty early
when they were on a low ebb, there were some upswings and
downswings, but for a large part of it I was dodging maran gangs,
scion gangs, and some brutal individual combos which ate me up.

It's been a while since I had played a warrior, and it showed for a
while. But eventually I got into a swing, still with occassional
hiccups because I like to die with preps in my inventory. Some great
RP interactions both friend and foes alike. Lots of people who would just say "Moo cow".

I had a role, even though I really didn't write anything down until
much later in the chars life, I like to think anyone that spent any
time watching or around me could see it. I had a couple of Demotions
for various things, lots of deaths, full loots, mob dies when
400tnl, but Cuucqa kept on trucking, because thats what he did.

Goodbyes:

Imms
As always, I thank you for the time and trouble you devote to this game.
Grurk, no hard feelings about the demotes! Hope I did your Sect proud.

Players:
I'm bound to forget some people so holler out. But some notables

Imperials-
Grunlath, well done on Emperor. Glad I left the Empire in a better
state that it was when I came in. You know your stuff.

Yagharek thanks for the War Master shot. You were the General, and Cuucqa the faithful soldier taking orders.
Damn I lost count of the times I died with you because you would just go in headlong before anyone had a chance to prep!

Serduk another trooper. Boy did we lay some smack down at times.

Sylus you and Yag in the same group were just scary damage.

Dulmisa you old fart, how the hell did I age die before the Matron Mother of Shadows!?
Your presence was more often than not a tide turner since enemies would know the risk
and be super cautious.

Niaz although I had planned and plotted to sabotage your becoming I actually OOC was
pulling for you! I said some in your thread. When I realized the Spirit blade was
one of your items I started trying to find a thief to forge it!

Kadinstrat, way to go out in a blaze of glory? What happened to the uprising?
You had a window where you could have pulled it off, but you just went and auto'd!?

Gvan. BANZAAAAIIII Mr balls to the wall glory fighter! Good Emperor.

Mr Rhyming Felar warrior, You cracked me up.

Fort:
Faltarn scary beast that you were. I didn't feel so bad having been tooled by you when I
found out who played you!

Grysh, how dumb was I not realizing you had gotten the Orb back and using a flaming bardiche!?
Then I ran out of prots and Kasdenn came round, I knew what was going to happen next.
Sorry I never got another shot, and thanks for stabbing me for giving you your spear!

Levan, the forts version of Gvan.

Hrugald, you were a funny bastid. I got some chuckles out of your taunts.

Alriac you are kind of the Forts Yag, you are always the one to escape while your troops
get slaughtered. But its kind of the way that legacy works.

Lothari, I died to you when I would forget to prep. Then you dissapeared!?

Meanagera another tough shaman and another source of my short life span!

Xilla/Ladia/Raz thanks so much for forgetting protecting shield and aura more times than I can
count.

Fechin, one painful time for a lesson in tigerpounce. I think the rest of your kills on me
were raids. Some paladin saved your hide in Barovia, I can assume you didn't know till then you
can't fly up in there!

Seltun, damn you were a pain in the ass! How many weapons did I lost to distort dirt disarm!?

Roavia, just scary paladin, and totally great RP.

Village:
Gerylanst, top notch IMHO.

Kaisse well I really was never comfortable in full looting anyone and often gave gear back.
I think you and Faltarn both sacced stuff I gave back to you.

Varthas, ballsy Elf. I love Neps comment on your PBF, Rambo with pointy ears and a flail!
Thats the way to play a villager.

Kragathian, nice kill today. I'd like to see the log if you have it. I totally missed getting
entwined, I think I might have gotten you if I had been paying attention, you had to be pretty
close to death.

Scion:
Gondrak, the reason for my second legacy choice. Giving up levels to you was brutal. Once I took
Harmonious and got my hands on some preps things went a bit better although I never managed to
bring you down 1 on 1. Gratz on the Immhood and Avatar.

Outlander:
Mhadrat. Sorry I have zero respect for rot/word shamans.

Tac, tough sob.

Qing, more withered age I'm sure!

Tribs:
Falun, Kaazra. Love it when there is evil folks in the Spire.
Braeburn it was funny getting ganged by you and Levan when he was wanted.
Kasdenn, at one point you raided us more than the Fort! You are the prep/warrior extrodinaire!

Others.
All the seeker crowd, good luck with the tower building.

I know I am forgetting loads. I have a bunch of load Ill sift through and post on Dios.

Peaceout

That a huge lost for the Empire. Each time I'd be around you, you'd tear apart our enemies here and there. Never really interacted with you though which might be a shame. And I've said it in the past...but god I cannot understand most of the time the minotaur speech. Hence why you might have felt I was ignoring you.

Well good job for what you've done and hopefully, we'll have someone to step up in the seat of War Master! Because I do believe you occupied it for a goddamn long time! (Even my last imperial was under your wing!)

Good job overall and good luck with the next character!

Yes I have to openly admit I HATE Minospeak too. It truly is the most frustrating thing about the race (that and the apparent short life span) You have no Idea the number of quests, items, and various other speech prog'ed things that are just unatainable as a mino, and I mean I started finding that out sub level 10!
So believe me it was part of Cuucqa RP that he really didnt like to speak, which in turn would hamstring lots of RP chances. I got to the point I would note anyone who made fun of me and ensure I got a chance to smack them down. One of the big big things I regret was an incident that we were facing a Maran/Outlander hoard and Denn said something about how Cuucqa spoke and then after a few emotes looked like he was challenging the warmaster. I had Anathema Denn; charge Denn typed in and my finger was above the enter key when the raid hit. After the chaos ended (he died I think) he quit out and I never saw him again, he auto'd after that. Looking back there is a good chance the raid would have crushed us if I had, but man I wish I had now! =0)

What to say, very well done. But I hate minospeach and thus had to hate you a bit, that's the way it goes. Remember when I told you to become War Master, I am allmost allways right in those situations... Blademasters gloves did you in I guess, I myself avoid them like the plague (though I had a pair for a minute once, then decided to dust before scanning at the scions and they had summoned some mean mob who bashed me down and that cool scion drow warrior looted them). Anywho I should be coming soon enough to join you in that cemetary till then, feed those worms!

44498, Nice job you dyslexic bastard
Posted by Lightmaged on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Interacted a bit with you with Harkan, and again with Onaelith. I hate mino speach, but you were a well played Blade from what i saw and read on log board. Empire will miss you.

Thanks for the good words. In this few words you really described the way I plaied Gvan :):) I met you with another few chars... well done as War Master.

It was unexpected that you should die like that.

We were effective in hunting, and from what i saw you lead the blades well. Politics is politics, and that missive you sent wrong was hilarious. It was unreal, and perhaps the finest present you could give me. It made things easier to play out for sure.

Good char, and do roll up another imperial. As you know the bloodoath once taken last for your whole cf-life.
44526, Kinda cool man... hehe
Posted by Bajula on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I remember you telling Feichin that you wouldn't fall
for the same trick next time, and you never did.
:) go you.
And yes that was the first time I flew into barovia.
*rofl* can we say uh oh?
Anyway, fun fights one and all. and You are right after
that one time I never killed you one on one again.
:) Tiger still rocks though hehehe.

Feichin.

I didn't expect a mention in here at all. I've got my vendetta, which was made apparent. Just once I was hoping for the opportunity to fight you one on one. You never let that happen though. I despised you for it too. I began to wonder whether it was a conscious decision as a player. From what I saw of Cuucqa, you were pretty cowardly, but grew courage when someone was with you. You seemed to have done well in the eyes of your peers, and that's always what really counts.

Try competing on the good (better) side!
44570, Well I can see how
Posted by Cuucqa on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I did tangle will you a couple of times, each time I found you well prepped and myself with nothing to counter you.
There were a couple of times as well I saw you when I was hurt, or on my way to retrieve and I had to just avoid you. Fighting you one on one without a full set of preps just would be folly. Its pretty obvious your know your stuff, I can imagine you are never without haste, reduce and probably a gambit of others. So you saw coward, I say cautious. Most of the characters life it seemed I hit when I could, plus the combo was built with cabal wars in mind; defensive spec, anti lag to hang in front during raids. Sword cry for throwing down damage when falling to the back of a fight.

Anyway good luck I'm sure we will get to fight sometime soon!
44572, You know, after reading my own post...
Posted by Kasdenn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I can see how I might have come off as a bit negative, and that really wasn't my intention. Just wanted you to know I wasn't questioning your character's integrity as a warrior or imperial at all. I just wanted to match up with you more than what we did. And again, it is the comrades and peers who see you shine the most--not necessarily your enemies. And as an aside, if anyone knows the cautious card, it'd be me! Heh, I play it often enough.

And by fight soon, do you mean Outlander? ;-)

Good character, and good luck.

Think of it this way, you have shown quite a bit of game-knowledge/smartness and you have a habit on calling out duels. If I am to fight someone who's got a very good grasp tactics and preps, I will try catch him offguard. To fight on the terms you lay down is stupid , because you wouldn't call for said terms unless you knew it was beneficial for you and not him or me.

I admit to having a soft spot for minotaurs, but I really liked
what I saw of The Cuu.

44493, 424 hours?
Posted by Someone on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Is that avg for minotaurs or did he have some other aging affects like withering or something?
44529, RE: 424 hours?
Posted by nepenthe on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Some aging affects or something, though not what I would call an immense amount of them.
44492, Respected you (txt)
Posted by Hrugald on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
You were one of the few imperials I respected. You, Serduk and Dulmisa. The rest from Yaghareks time were spineless, near as I could tell. Well done. I was always silently rooting for you when you were logged in alone against the fortress, and you were one of the few I didn't feel bitter against when the Yagharek OOC perma gank was logged on.

Well done.

I remember trying just to get the Oath for weeks without success. It had looked like the Blade Sect was nonexistant. After some failed attempts at convincing Zevsa, Niaz's elixir failed and suddenly I'm seeing 3-5 Blades on. I told you how I had done you everything you might've asked me to do before taking the Oath anyways, and just an hour later (recovering the Codex) I got the Oath.

The Imperial Deathsquad was always pretty good for regearing. Every hour or so Saskrin or the Blades would come around and utterly destroy all of the raiders and I would take anything I could use. Needless to say, it isn't hard to get 41 damroll and 28 hitroll when you're taking some nice limiteds. (Lost it recently in a 2-1 gank on me while gushing at 50%)

Then you age died, and I patiently twiddle my thumbs waiting for a promotion.
44660, You'll do fine
Posted by Cuucqa on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Yeah I tried to get away from the "oh you have donations let me promote you" mentality. You had to earn your spot in the sect.
The timing was just off for your oath, I knew you wanted it, but stuff was always happening.
Anyway. Enjoy the sect, Sylus will run things well I think.
44755, RE: You'll do fine
Posted by Grajekeck on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Yeah. It's good for the Sects too. I've been trying to shine in retrieval/defending so that I might get a promotion, but alas, exams near and I have little time to play with.
