Not a ton to say other than that I really enjoyed your company. Seemed like you were beating ass at low levels. Glad you got Captain after Drissa. I wish we'd had time to pk together at 51!

Thoroughly enjoyed every fight, and for the larger part we stood toe to toe from the little league to the big league.

My only comment:
"I did not expect half of the fort to follow me...ugh. Destroyed the reason for it."
Don't let others determine your playing experience, sometimes its not only a matter of trucking through the bad but the good as well.

You were a lot of fun to hang around, and enjoyed a lot of our
interactions when you were a lowbie, that all kind of tapered
off later I guess but it was still nice seeing you around
mostly because I knew where to go to find some fights if you
were on. Voralian plague was definitely a highlight for me.

135199, Merelith's only friend outside the fort.

Was so glad there was a goodie magistrate about, although Merelith didn't care so much about the law, she cared alot about who enforced it.

I always enjoyed the times we got to do things together, and yes, that plaguefest in voralia was fun.
135182, This wasn't actually a rage delete
Posted by Onewingedangel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I was ready to delete a few days before, and my playtimes started dropping due to a few logins with no evils or even any fort to talk to with. So I typed up delete, and Karvesh told me where an imperial was, so went to fight him, decided to do it prepless and tranceless. I got flurried into oblivion. Also Galvendir getting marshall eased my mind about a fort leader who can induct when I did this. Also congrats.

A few thoughts, I'm never taking Master of Nage Waza again. My primary reason for taking it was to throw hand to hand specs, found out the hard way you can't anymore. I tried alot more assassinates with this one, and think I've got the hang of it a bit more. I was really glad I level sat though, I went a while with empty ranges or people who stayed only in far corners of the world, however suddenly there was an explosion of mid-level evils. That's about when I went from 13 pkw to near 50. Also, Lightforge is amazing at level 35.

However, on to so some goodbyes to the major characters and Immortals in Merelith's life.

Korsgaard, thank you so much for the chance at captain, sorry I deleted so early. I was going to tell you to lighten up on the whole killing goodies thing, but to be honest, with how much I saw it happen and dealt with, It's pretty lax considering. It just requires a modicum of effort towards RP.

Rahsael, So sorry to ask about that whole father thing and jump ship, I assumed I wouldn't get hit with the boredom stick, but alas, here I am. Thank you, though. I mean it.

Emnon, Thank you for that very early quest while I was grinding skills on the trolls. It was fun (Despite forcing me to equip some burning weapons and gain an entire level too quickly), and I liked the twist ending, even if Merelith didn't. Also loved the continuing of dropping me forest guardian body parts. Really added a huge amount of flavor. Thank you, and yes, even for the plagues. :P

As for Mortals

Aurew, first and foremost. Merelith's closest friend and companion. Everything she refused to tell to anyone else she told to you. Leaving you was honestly the hardest part of this, and I made sure to have an IC reason to give Aurew less grief. Huge impact on Merelith, and my favorite fort character right now.

Drissa, I said most of it in your goodbye thread, but in all seriousness those talks and walks for errands while rping shaped Merelith almost wholly. Everything she thought being a Maran was became based off Drissa.

Gaelilga, My stubborn dwarven companion. The amount of times you nearly got me killed was too many to count, but I loved every moment of it. Two against four? Let's do it. Even when it turned bad, was still having fun. Also real sad eye for an eye wasn't working properly, could've had some fun with it.

There were alot of others who came up through the fort too, I've been up all night so gonna call big goodbye list there, and just respond to anyone who found me fun or impactful.

P.S. Sorry not sorry Horkhampz.
135190, You had some big shoes to fill

First captain after Drissa came with some big expectations. You did a good job of being a trooper and I enjoyed our interactions. I am a little surprised by the delete because you were doing a good job mixing it up. My one piece of pk advice would be to try new tactics more frequently, you seemed to be trying the same thing over and over with the occasional extra body tossed on.

I did nearly crap myself that one battle at the fort where you and Aurew were staggering throw and crush, you command locked me for like 3 ticks, if he did not duck out to altruism you I would have been fried chicken in 2 more rounds.
135198, There were a few other things I wanted to try

TOIW threw out poison darts, you were good on your timing of getting the nightwalker to tank so Owaza was something I wanted to try (I did get it once I think and it really turned the tide). You just had so much str coverage at one point.
135195, Well at least it wasn't total rage

Was hoping for more adventures together as I worked my way back into the Fort. Guess I will just have to do it with Aurew and others. Good luck next time around

I did not expect half of the fort to follow me...ugh. Destroyed the reason for it.
135180, I hated fighting you.

But you sure were fun to RP with. I enjoyed our fun little chats even though it was mostly taunting. Assassins in general are just not fun for me to fight but hopefully I made it difficult for you to land the kill, except for that one assassinate. GLWYN
135183, Unless bard gets the drop (lol), Assassin should win that fight

I had some pretty close calls with you, though. Most notably that time in Eil Shaeria. I had just gotten those gloves too and was like "####, I'm gonna lose them already." But nah, evade saved my ass. Keep trucking though, Empire needs you, I think.

Edit: Oops I'm tired, and yes, I also very much enjoyed our talks, especially the love life conversation, very awkward for Merelith :P
