Chapter 4

Discovering thera to be weak.

Many day had passed since I left my elders and went to thera to begin new
conquests and feed souls into a weapon. I grew fast to learn this dark art to
begin taking power of a mortals for myself so that I might be the true
champion and strongest of all in the land. But thera was not the land that I
expected to find when I first left my home. It was enemies like elders
told, enemies like the fortress and village of battleragers that were like
rabid animals trying to kill me and take away my source of power. Though
elders did know of the outlander that also fight against the dark arts of our
craft. It was a different enemy that I had to learn myself how to combat!

What was even stranger was a war between the pillars of order in thera. When
I took my oath after deciding best course to join empire to gather power for
my victory, there was the war between the spire and the empire. I thought it
was very strange and stupid myself that such a war existed while all a
enemies were ignored. The emperor himself was pushing it very hard because he
was upset about the anathema in the spire halls! I was also angry about this
but there was few moments that I thought the emperor was very weak in how he
handled a war. Once he even gave up himself to tribunal law which is simply
unbelievable for the emperor of thera.

I would not feel bad taking this throne from such weak emperor. In fact I
would enjoy it very much!

Even though I believed it to be a simply stupid war I had hopes that it would
go on for a while because it would be a chance to kill this fake knight Kira
that rises in the ranks of spire and take all their hard earned power for
myself! I bided my time in the black sect and watched the idiot dread lord
make a fool of himself many times and thought to myself that soon it would be
my time for power and I would take it all!
