Bendegoh and Magic

Bendegoh Sen'taapua like the majority of those of his race was born
in Blackclaw, son of a local guard, but he was forced to move to the
Desert of Araile after his father passed away. There he lived begging
and stealing from the passing merchants.

The years spent surviving in the desert heat have turned him into a
survivalist, but he still hates heat, sand, and everything associated
with the desert. Mainly because it was there where he had the biggest
disappointment of his life: he saw his best friend succumb to the spells
of magic and destroy himself.

Bendegoh knows that the only way to keep yourself and not a slave to
magic is to always be prepared to fight. Constant vigilance is the way
to one day free Thera from magic. Hence Bendegoh does not attach itself
to labels, for there are only two sides: those of the magicians and the
pure ones. He has already chosen his and will not leave the other side
in peace.
