Chapter 1

Possible Finality
Added Fri Dec 7 14:19:44 2018 at level 41:

Even as the plans of a great feast and celebration within the works, even as after yet more plans called the feast of screams
not even begun I sit here thinking of the sect that I lead, empty of all but two life forms within it.
It does not matter that there are only two, it is still the sect of our Gods. Both having risen with the great powers of
necromancy to delve the deepest of secrets and negative powers, this sect is last in placement among the council.
As still he works towards these tasks happening, Saam is devoting most all of his time and energy to the task of
seeing his sect the richest of all sects, that the wealth of the Empire would see his sect in highest standing.

Emperor Varric once told Saam, he himself had donated over four thousand gold to the blade sect during his tenure alone, and yet
the sect of our Gods has only barely over half that amount even now. This is a task that will take him some time, but must be
done before passage through the ghoul tunnels. Failing the incantation without doing this, would see ultimately his service
to his God as a failure, the sect having not been made stronger by his service.

As ever, Saam cannot afford this failure. He is in firm belief now that the realm of death is the realm and joy of his
own God, and death would be no escape to the eternity that would await him in failure.

There is a minor feeling, that the main reason Saam is actually waiting a bit longer than he had planned, not only for
his sect and god, is the possibility that an issue with his age would cause him a measure of cheating, should he enter
the ghoul tunnels, and awaits word beforehand of the possible bug, which he wrote note of, before his descent.
