Description

Barely reaching 3' tall, is a baby faced gnome, with just a little bit of
scruff on his face. He has a lovely shade of forest-green skin, with
a messy head of amber hair. He has large hazel eyes, gleaming with a
gentle bend to his brow. He glows with a cheery nature, as if he'd be
easy to talk to, with a rather loose and flowing posture. Rosey cheeks
bloom as laugh marks leave his little lips and rounded nose. His cloths
seem to barely fit, as the sleeves almost cover his hands completely,
and his pants drag across the ground.

I have spoken with my lord, Rahsael, while understanding how I can, and yet
already do impact those around me to fell loss. Being a magistrate and learning the
teachings of the patron diety to one of our enemies, it is odd in that manner but,
I have learned much and seek to further in this. Ash has spoken to me about the
mysteries, and now I am so intrigued with such that I can't help but become
completely immersed into the religion. A gnome who cared not originally for
such, now seeking it even so much more than ever.

To know how I impact others, with even just my status as magistrate, I did not
originally think about it, but it is loss to others who might wish to freely
slay someone within the cities who dwell in their guilds. Blessed are the lost, as he
takes pleasure in the fear, the anxiety, and even the emersion on the other side of
that once lost feeling.

I am a bit lost myself, that I am, in what feels like the stagnation
of the Tribunal. I know I am in competition with another for spot of Vindicator
yet, I thrive on the competition, for one of us will feel loss, that we will.
I do feel I've the support of the Provost, that I do, but who knows what will
happen.

As for the Provost, I feel a bit lost with his issues with the Marans, that I do,
especially Drissa. I feel the urge to cut that one down from time to time and my
anger gets the best of me, almost distracting me from my duties, that it does.
Perhaps I will find a way to bring loss to her that will sway her
from hunting the Provost so tenaciously, perhaps by falling a few of
her allies, that I might, so I can show her the folly of her ways, but time
will tell, that it will.

Chapter 3, A bit more about my expanding life

I've become a magistrate and I even got to meet the lord of the lost.
Growning in the guild has been quite an adventure, and even got moved to Galadon,
where I made home many years ago, that I did. It's nice being back in this
city.

Meeting with Ash, the child of Rahsael, who is also apart of Rahsael, so he
says, was quite an interesting experience, that it was! We talked a lot, that we did
and he seemed to understand me quite so well, that he did. An individual lost in his own
path, just wandering about. I really liked his compass, I want one just like it, that I do.
He wants me to take those with me on adventures and get lost, but sometimes I know my way
about in lots of places, that I do. Perhaps he means to get lost in the adventure, that he does!
I'm also to learn how they feel about it, how the adventure goes, that I am, but figuring it out
that's the best part I think. I do want to learn quite a bit more about Rahsael that I do, and even
meet the beast, that I do, even if I become a chew toy to it, it might be fun, nothing gained
without something lost! Blessed are the lost, that they are.

Oh, just a little tidbit, that it is. Don't punch Ash because he punches harder, that he does!

As a magistrate, I try my best that I do, but sometimes I get a bit confused, that I do.
There seems to be a general dislike for my kind, even with those we share similarities with,
though perhaps it's just me, that it is. Besides those who oppose the Spire, there
seems to be a general detest for us, that there is. I will try, that I will, to be
as nice as I can, while upholding the law. Can't be too hard, perhaps the public
opinion will change, that it will.

So, a little bit about myself. I know my introduction journal entry
seemed a bit shallow, so whenever you get to read this in the days long passed,
I want you all to understand a bit more about Kipple...

It's true that I've got a bright personality, but that's just a bit of
my own darkness hiding behind a smile. I've been almost broken by family
for my lack of magical prowells. An inept gnome, useless, worthless, whatever
one could think to call me, they did. "A gnome without magic!?, How dreadful!"
This is mostly what I heard coming from many in Hillcrest, but that
didn't stop my focus at all, to do whatever I can to be the best.

When I left my town of Hillcrest, I wanted to so much be useful for something.
But without having magic, wasn't anything I felt I could do about it. We gnomes
excel in magic, our greatest test of strength in the world, yet I didn't have it.
So I decided what I did, becoming a warrior, becoming a magistrate, so I can
do something beneficial.

I've been constantly lost in direction, but I feel like I've found something
to progress towards, and be great towards. One thing I've not lost is my
dream to be the mightest gnomish warrior on all of Thera!

Oh, a little side note about yours truly, I was always referred to the runt
in my generation, didn't grow much and I'm sure far from being the tallest, that's
for sure!

The start to my journey, chapter one of my journal.

Hi, I'm Kipple Thiddledrip, one of the smallest gnomes you'll ever meet with
what I think is the biggest personality ever! I come from a long line of
mages, but I never was able to pick up on controlling mana like most magi are.
It didn't bother me too much, but my parents didn't take a liking towards
my inept abilities. So I ventured off to explore the world, leaving at a rather
young gnomish age and came to a lovely, large city called Galadon.

Being in Galadon was an eye opener for a young gnome like me, being kept
up in Hillcrest, distant to most places in Thera, didn't see many new things.
Giants are one thing, ho boy, those guys are large! I do whatever I can
to dodge their footsteps, but this place has a lot of diversity, and many interesting
things to see.

----A few years pass, I'm 60 now----

Kipple the thief, no.... Kipple the assassin, Yes! But they don't teach gnomes?
Racist! Oh, it's just that gnomes don't make good assassins. Makes sense.
Fine, the warrior guild accepts any and all! I'll do that! So I joined the
warriors guild, since I had no magical talent, and I'm too honest to be a
thief, to honest for my own good sometimes. I'll give this a whirl and see
where my adventures take me.

A few weeks after starting my training in the Academy, I've already done a lot
as a warrior, at least I think I have. I've slain big, and I mean BIG rats!
Holy crap were those things big, and I was able to help the coffinmaker with
making the graveyard a bit safer, though ghost are creepy in the way they
can reach right through you.

I keep hearing a lot about the Gods and Goddess, and religion never really
occured to me, due to my parents never really being religious, but I feel a bit lost
without some kind of guidance of the divine. Perhaps I'll do a bit more research about
it and figure out if it's for me! I do have time on my side after all as we
gnomes live long fated lives!
