Zurra was abandoned as a newborn without explanation by an Ugaard
soldier in the Sky Shrine in Ayr'Trinil. They took her in and she
grew up there with a group of priests and priestesses as a sort of
informal extended family. She was trained at first as a shrine
maiden, performing rituals and ceremonial dances to celebrate
different celestial events, holidays, births and funerals and
marriages and so on. She spent time as well with the paladins,
drilling with weapons and prayers. And it was ultimately this more
violent and direct path that appealed to her. The shrine was
beautiful and she loved her time there and everyone she was close
with because of it. But it was seperated from the world in way. At
the peak of a mountain, far from the concerns of almost anything
below. Even the air was rarified and thin. Her place just wasn't
dancing at the edge of the world, but diving into the heart of it,
struggling with all the wickedness she could find there.
