Notes on the Order

A few points regarding the Order's history and purpose.

I) The Order worships death in all it's manifestations.
In this age that is represented by The Unspoken whom
the Order venerates and tithes to.

II) There is nothing supernatural about the Order aside
from their dabblings in dark magic and necromancy.
Nazarates was revived through magic, his dark aura
and chaotic nature may have been inherent all along
but he chooses to believe that when his spirit passed
into the realm of death that he was blessed (ie.
"chosen" like the al-Caliik) and brought back a piece
of death within him.

III) Only the Weavers are allowed into the actual
Sepulcher. It is said that within lies a great Vampire
who speaks to them and guides them toward bringing
eternal night to the realms. This is furthered by the
practice of Hunters bringing blood offerings for the
Weavers to take into the chamber. Other rumors contend
that it is full of holy relics that were cursed and
tainted. Ultimately the truth is known only to the
worthy.

IV) While none within the Order care for personal
wealth the bounties that are taken are always paid
in gold. That gold is then used to fund the above-
ground activities of the Order and tithed to the
Unspoken for His dark blessing.

V) The Order is at permanent odds with any who would
seek to bring life in place of death, nature in place
of ruin. The Hunters will seek them even without a
contract and without mercy.

VI) Above all else the members of the Order seek to
protect their secrets, their faith and the location
of the Black Sepulcher.
