Awakening

These visions shook Jeede greatly. He remember what his purpose had been,
though still not much more than the continued fighting of a few years passed.
He remembered arguing with his 'brothers' about the need to push beyond what
they considered righteous. Everyone must be willing to do everything and
anything to finish what they started. He remembered disgust at their lack of
conviction to the kill, how it drove him mad. There were times when he broke
things and wandered off on his own to stew in anger at their weakness.

All these thoughts swirled with the events of the past few weeks, since he
stirred awake to setting sun shining weakly through that stone temple.
Reaching up and rubbing the back of his head, where the pain was when he
woke. Rubbing that spot that he washed blood out of his hair from Jeede
realized that the shaking ground may have released him from what he had sworn
to. He was not the same person he was before, or perhaps that person was not
who he could truly be as that old self was locked behind a wall of precepts
that were not his. Had they ever been?

It was time to find himself, and he would go to any length he felt like to do
this.
