Chapter 10

Mind over body

Sekope rests in the Galadon guild a calm look spread over his face
as he holds himself for a time in a medatative pose. Reaching a
deep inner focus he can feel everything around him begin to tingle
ever so slightly. Then he feels it the brief betrayal of air movement
where there should be none. Looking up maintaining focus he notices
a powerful winged figure nearly bursting from what little shadows
the light forms in the room. There is a brief flash of a blood soaked
blade is placed on the floor before the figure as one hand is held
raised in a open gesture.

Sekope focuses on the figure for a time and then begins to mimic the
medatative movements. These poses continue for some time until just
as suddenly the figure is gone and Sekope is once again left alone.

Sekope murmurs to himself "The body will always give up long before
the mind does!" Raising to his feet, a hardened focused look can be
seen on his face. He shakes his head for a moment as he deeply
exhales, "I feel good, really good!"
