Trekberg has learned in his strange upbringing some very vital things.

In order to be strong in life you have to make your own rules. Simply following
what others may say will not work.

That even the weak have a way to surprise you and may help you sometime so don't
overlook them. Boof did this to Trek, and in exchange he has offerred to not hunt
the kobolds of the land, and if need be help them against others.

In order to be strong, you need to not show weakness, despite the case that you
may be. Don't be afraid of a fight, but also don't be like Throg's pigs and line
up to be slaughtered. Get more than you give.

Trek has also learned from Bok and Throg, is that in order to weaken one foe and
strengthen yourself is to limit the quality of the food supply. Therefore, Trek
will stick to eating the meats of the land, and let the other feed on the pies
and pastrys that Thera offers.
