Mrreish the Warden of the Winds

Description

Low a muscular a felar is before you. Dark gray and black
fur is prominenant on the felar, allowing him to easily
blend in with most surroundings. Here and there a tuft of
white can be seen, around the tips of his ears, below the
curve of his lower fangs and on his four paws. A very long
tail, longer the most of his kind swishes slowly side to side
different from the rest of his body, a multitude of colors
from blues, to oranges, to different shades of red and gray.
Narrow dark eyes gauge you and take in your movements and
upon further inspection :

A putrid stench arises.

Padding along the mountain trail under the scraggly boughs and trees,
a putrid stench arises to Mrreish's nostrils. Not from the swamp to
the north, but further than that, carried by the Great Northern WInd.
Wrinkling his nose he recognizes the smell. Arkham. While a strong
hatred of all cities is within this cat, cities like Galadon, Hamsah,
Udgaard, it is not their time yet. More careful errosion is needed
for these to be razed. But Arkham... these people live in fear when
the fog rolls through the city.They are weak and beaten, and Mrreish
wants it razed to the ground, nothing left but ashes so new saplings
may eventually grow.

Chapter 2

The Great Cycle

Everything has its beginning and its end. What once will become,
and what is will eventually end. To Mrreish there is a fire within
every being that must be prevoked, prevoked to become bigger and
brighter. This fire is forged from sweat, blood, and tears. If no
fire can be prevoked, if all that may come from a being is weakness,
whimpering banter, and crying. Than it is time for that flame to
be extinguished. Evolution will have its way in the end and only
the strong will be let to move forward.

A great crying can be heard of late of the Reaver attacking many,
even other rangers. That he does not pick flowers with them and
sniff the butts of animals. He is a REAVER, his claws will rip
tear, and his mouth with be filled with blood. If you are too weak
to survive in this Dream, than what use have you in the next?
Until the gods speak otherwise so it shall be so.

Chapter 1

Finding One's Purpose

The hoot of an owl can be heard in the distance in the night's air.
Loose rock and gravel slowly fall down the mountain's side, a feat
of gravity or perhaps something more sinister? Padding along the
side of the mountain Mrreish quietly tracks his prey, being careful
to keep out of sight and scent. The moon is full and its rays of
light illuminate the huge black bear slowly making its way along
the mountain trail below. When the bear reached the end of the trail
it was time to strike before it could turn into the forest where
it would be more difficult to pursue without Mrreish's scent being
found. With a running start and a leap, Mrreish sailed through the
air, the predator's shadow on the mountain trail and a gleam of steel
from the moonlight being the only warning the prey had. Soon growl's
of anger and pain could be heard throughout the mountaintops as
life's cycle was coming full circle.

Near the mountaintops Mrreish would drag his kill, safe from
scavengers and other predators. It was a fine kill, a clean kill.
When others of the pack simply talked, Mrreish moved. Leaving the
pack to continue hunt alone, one of little words but preferring
bold action. A great Fire burns within the felar, a follower of the
Goddess Iunna, he sensed that there was something greater to be done
besides the bickering and the politics. And set out to accomplish
such. To the north a great Tree can be seen and felt. Mrreish slowly
makes his travels there.
