Struggling through difficulties
Woldrun's life has not been as good, lately, as it had been.
The ascension of Borkahd into the Pantheon makes him both happy
and sad - he is proud to have fought, bled, and died next to one
who is now immortal, but he also misses one of his most staunch allies.

In addition, other close brothers have lived the life of a village flame:
Grawshen and Thomayen - both burning bright, hot, and fast, and being
snuffed out too soon.

Of late, too, the only combat Woldrun seems to be able to engage in is one-sided
toward the hated Empire - recovering the bloody head from odds that range from
merely "poor" to "disturbingly ridiculous".

Finally, he has been largely unsuccessful in carrying out his father's wishes -
the Lady Rayihn is the only Lord or Lady that he has met aside from those he
has already spoken with. As beautiful as she is, that is unlikely to impress his
father.

All is not lost or bad, however. Despite a "dry spell" in mage skulls,
the reason for this - most all magi running when they see him approaching -
does fill him with some pride.

None within the Village know of the dissatisfaction Woldrun currently
experiences - he is not one to moan or complain. There is still work to be
done, and he will see it done.
