Description

Stooped with many years of life having passed by, this pale svirfneblin looks
about with keen, midnight black eyes as accutely as any young adventurer.
Hs skin is overly pale, not as one that has ignored the sun all his life, but
quite likely he is an albino. His skin though seems stretched over his bones,
though in some places such as his middle, there is extra skin hangling
loosely. It does not seem to be his age which has affected him in this
manner, but something closer to having the life leeched from within him.
He does still carry himself with obstinate pride one step forward at a time,
fully dressed in his battle-mail off to whatever task he performs.

I really like arcanes, but christ their spells fail more than any other thing I have ever known from my
past experiences. Now doing it all over again, except with alot less int, so I expect things to be even worse
magic wise for this char, I still wanna give it a go, svirf arcane noone plays them. :)

Dear diary,

oops, I accidently made magic at its strongest, but in the least it returned t
a slightly higher state after, the means which we are supposed to bring it to
balance. Villagers are becomming rather annoyed with me, and I have noticed
their deaths happening much more often, their sheer force of will is their
strength, and I have been battering at it. I have also located a few different
items I can gather, greater and lesser, for the veil. Oh I also believe I have
unravelled most of the secrets I had not before on the forces, as well as the
study of magics performed within the vault! Pascinius would be proud of me, I
will visit him soon, but so often I am busy, I am sure he understands, but also
I do know he feels the affects of what I do for the balance, in the least with
magic. I hope they are all proud of me. Oh! I have also begun to truly compile
all my thoughts of what I wish to say within my lecture on the forces, beliefs
of therans and the balance. I may have to shorten it, I never realized just how
much I had compliled, my thoughts, elaborations, examples, oh dear god my journal
is less than half its size to date. I am not yet finished!

Update - Forging ahead

Dear diary,
Its been a long time since I wrote in you, and just jnow I realized, I never
made my diary known. I can fight heroes now, but I am beginning to be depressed
in truth, all these items of great magic I cannot gain for the rift, because my
magic is not felt to these creatures of strength, and my physical abilities are
tested too thoroughly, I am not platinum. I gather as many items with lesser
essences of magic for study, but exactly what do they study of the magic, that
I can give 20 robes, and they do not tire of them? I will have to research that.
I have also led a few strikes on teh village for the head, I think that has not
been too amusing for the villagers, they have pushed nexans around thoroughly.
But again, there is little an army to rouse of our own, nexans slumber in a fitful
fear induced sleep, and the village army marches in packs. I cannot explain how
often I fight two or three of them at once, and it is worse when their commander
is with them. I am only one svirfneblin, even a rock can crumble with enough force.
I must break their will before I break. Also the maran are really becomming upset
by myself, they have been in power most, and have felt me more than any other.
They do not understand, and call me evil. Well I do suppose I help strengthen at
that time the more negative and unholy aspects of the forces, but they are really
the evil people then! I will struggle on.

Dear Diary,
Oh my diary is beginning to look like a true journal like the other elders of
the Sanctum! And oh what an accomplishment! I know I am young still within my
guild of transmutation, but Aouko truly liked me, liked where I came from and
believes in me. When we first met here he seemed depressed, but it looked like
I had given him a good measure of hope for the future. I will not let him down.
I want him and the other nexans to have faith in me, and I have made up my mind,
I am going to teach the other therans so they will not be ignorant of us, one of
these days when I truly understand all aspects, or at least most, of the means
to which the greater and lesser forces coexist with each other in the balance,
and how their beleifs affect their lives, how they are seen on the prime plane,
the affects of their beliefs on their soul, how are truly balanced people like
a nexan seen? Oh how horrible, what of a villager? There is much to research.

Dear diary,
Oh dear me, I truly love many of these people, but more than anything else I
wanted to leave, and already found myself packed, but even standing at the
portal to hamsah I couldnt do it, once I got there I get butterflies, and got
to near crying, one day I will find out whom gave me that rather forceful
helping shove through the portal. My adventuring career had just begun. Most
of my time was spent doing erronious tasks to complete, so now I do have
nothing but time on my hands often, and my mind true to a scholar, did little
but roam, make me anxious, worried, and scared. But Mostly it was upon magic
and the nexus, there was so much I did not understand, the necessities of light
and dark, chaos and order. A lone nexan told me the light was in strength. How?
why? Planar concepts did not apply, and truly nothing did, but I did come across
a stray thought on beliefs, since really noone can even consider themselves good
nor evil without it, and thinking of the forces that make up the faith of every
sentient being, and oh some not so sentient but truly devout! I do believe I
begin to see the true picture, and the need for nexans as a whole. Why cant
others see it too?

An odd manner for an odd meeting

Dear diary,
As I am doing my chores i cant help but feel people staring at me, staring
through me even as I look back at them. They look at me as if I am something
not from this plane of existance, like I had come out of a portal and were
slithering about in a fiery inferno that was frozen!
But a few days of this has happened now, and it does not stop. A few times
I broke down and wept. If the living stone of earth saw me they would weep
only at the sight of me.
But today something even more strange happened. A message boy came for me,
how often have I done that? But it was a request for me to meet with
Elder Pascinius himself. Requesting me for a meeting and not simply telling
me what he wanted! How odd. I wonder if I know too much. Oh god I wonder if
he knows I read his diary! Oh I should return his dragonbone wand now!

Dear diary,
it has been a long time since I wrote in you last. So much has happened,
that it seems like it has been years, instead of only near a month. I found
evidence at last after investigating alot of things. To be quite honest it
was the smell of death that led me to it while taking a stroll for fresh air
outside. I finally got the nerve to speak with Elder Pascinius on the matter.
I couldnt help but feel pride at his appraisal at me, and I believe I lept
to the chance too eagerly to hunt for the name of the sabateur, but I should
think I would have done so anyway. My trip led me all sorts of places, and
even learned a little of my astrological signs in the process! I would never
have thought I would be pure elemental though, especially since I do not bear
any elemental abilities! But.. oh yeah. I did end up finding the name of the
sabateur, he is dead now, and Pascinius even told me he was grateful to me!
but now back to the life of a nobody, I feel as if for once in my life I did
something great, but now.. oh how worthless!

A sneaky surprise

Dear diary,
I only wanted to know everything that was going on, so while on breaks or
when I thought noone was looking, I would sneak into the rooms of the
elders and read their journals. Oh did I learn alot of things, especially
of their thoughts of Khadrath himself, I do wish I had met him, I had
heard he was an arcane like myself, it is the reason I did come here,
only that he was so smart he knew several schools of magic intimately.
I love his workings of the soul, but there is something wicked going on,
a sabateur. I believe I should like to tell my elders about it but I am a
nobody, just a novice, a person noone cares about because my magic works
inwards, and not outwards. I cannot really help much besides making things
quicker. I will have to do this alone.

I know this is a little vain, but all the elders here within Khardrath's
Sanctum all have journals they write in constantly. I want to look important
like they do, even if all you are is a diary, maybe they will notice me as

like THAT to the elders I believe I would be thrown out of here quickly! I
dont have much time to write, I do fear I have to help with making the meals

The meeting -long entry, most important-

Dear diary,
That was excruciating. As I was called into his quarters he bade me sit. It
was a good thing he didnt know I had sat in that very chair before reading
his journal! But, it turned out he did. Well even if he had not, after
staring at me for a small time as the others had before, I blurted out that
it was me that took his wand and returned it to him immediately, his journal
was the only reference to that wand.. it is a good thing I never trained to
be a thief, I would be the only one with a guilty concience. He only truly
asked me one question, " Why are you here?", and well, I gave alot of excuses
to be quite honest, all of them true but still...
The real reason, I want to be a great mage, one of the greatest. I want to be
the one people look to like Khardrath, a mage people look up to with awe and
love and fear. I want to be special.
The nerve of him to tell me I will never be anything of that sort here with
my magic being undesirable for the tasks they perform how I wanted to box his
ears, but he was honest. He told me most every mage that performs work there
within the sanctum would not have done anything to reveal the sabateur,
fearing for their own lives. A difference in people is their willingness to
sacrifice themselves if necessary to a greater good, an ideal, their work
that he said I posess, and only a handful of people do, and its that that
made people, like Khardrath great. I couldnt believe I was compared to
khardrath. But then.. he asked me to follow him, to the portal of fire, which
I had fixed by the way! He activated it, but it didnt matter. The portal did
not work. I know it had happened alot in the past, and more recent it has
happened more and more, he explained to me what affects magic. Villagers I came
to know as nothing else, their history, their works, the nexus, their doings
to stop the village from magics end. I could not help but envision as he
described why they do not work upon the portals during the times magic is
extremely potent, because the portals are two way, their control over what
enters and leaves is lessened, anything could come through, that a thing much
worse even than not being able to work because the magic has failed from being
so weak. I began seeing where he was going with this, and it was true, within
the sanctum I would have been nothing, but without, I can influence the work of
the magi and keep magic stable, be someone they need. It would be rare we met,
but I would be important to them then, I would be special, what they need most.

reason for my characters role title is because I know eshval will want to have alot of run with this, if
my char is allowed to have the baby. If I have to attempt mate with kikebi again so be it, just please dont

The true terror

I do not truly know what has happened to myself, though for the moment I feel quite well,
for a small time I did experience what it was to bear a nightmare. I do not believe I have ever
before dreamed. I do remember the spiders quite clearly. I bear no irrational fears of any creature
but yet while I sleep I still do remember what it meant to fear them, it was nearly the same as the
dread queen herself, but it is still that I find myself often sleeping, just to bear the experience again.
Though I am quite certain I am not pregnant, those signs women speak of have not come to pass upon
my person, I am quite certain something has happened to myself, for good or ill I do believe it I do bear
a seed, waiting, my future child within me waiting to be begun. I may have been given the means to be able
produce.
I may be able to bear child.
I have been told whom I must approach, and will do so when I have time to speak of it, as well as to others
of my family within the rift.

Small ooc part, thank you eshval the nightmares were sweet each tick I was sleeping, but they seem to have
stopped :( they were cool. I have to admit though I am stupid, I really didnt get what happened in your shrine,
i try to act wise and smart, I am svirf. I hope I got it right.
In the meantime, I am going to keep pestering girl chars on what it is like to be a girl in case I need
to be prepared to be one :)

What nightmares are made of

Dear diary,
I have tried my hardest to calm any fear my would be mate would posess in reguards to myself.
Including getting the word out to any I may have missed. I do admit I have had some odd responses, most
especially from Delagny whom I believe lost himself within his own confusion, I have found myself fall into
sadness, I do admit a thing I do not feel much, nor a thing I do like feeling.
I do apologize the melancholy I feel as I write this, I do not like those I fight ending their lives, Xarius
will no longer breath again, and I feel a great pity for him. Soon, likely very soon it will be that he
will be forgotten, not even a whisper. Oh how I do loathe the very thought of that myself.
I did turn to the one being that has accepted me as more than just a companion in life as the other nexans,
The dark queen, dread Vampire goddess of the night.
I do fear for the safety of my soul when I am near her, though I admit my beliefs have not changed and I
do keep to them, it is what I fear she could do to myself, but such a thing as I do desire I cannot pass
the chance.

:) oh well. World crashed while I gathered my armors from my corpse, and left naked
and without eshvals bite. That is the thing which hurt most. Oh well, that and
people trying to kill me afterwards since I am naked :) finally taken down but by

I needed to write this to vent, I am sorry about it. I am not bothered I will have
good eq again, but the manner of the loss, and events after have really bothered me. I want those fangs

Ok I love this title, and because of it I am having a blast with people :) I do believe Eshval has about 99%
to do with the blood comment, and the other stuff, but sorry right after I saw my title I saw myself asking
almost everyone in thera if they are my secret admirer, if they are certain, etc etc and I am so sorry
but I really needed to have a little fun with this. You tell satebos, "Excuse me. Are you my secret admirer?"
eheheheh. You tell satebos, "If it is the dead thing, I do not mind it at all, but it does give rather unique
thoughts to children."

An odd day. Role + Dear diary,

Today was a day like most others I do believe it, the light bore strength too much, and allbiet that has not
happened as much as it used to, I was quite readily stomping on maran even through their numbers, but an
odd thing happened. Even during a pause in the fighting I did bear witness to the vampire herself, Eshval
become disgusted with her followers, and then still looking upon the empty chasm, I found myself in wodner
at what it could have been to truly annoy her so, but not long after something else did happen to me, for
only of a moment, but that moment I could truly feel the blood within me as I had not before.. not simply
the ebb and flow of my adrenaline, and the speed I control for my movements, but rather the life of it, the
pure beat and feel of it through my veins, tissue and muscle, but then it was gone and only a memory, but
a memory quite clear. There comes a time in ones life where they know they are getting old, and I do believe
I am truly becomming that. Oh and I also have a secret admirer I cannot truly believe my fortune. I have been
looking for a mate to bear my children and I may have one, oh if only I could figure out whom it is. I can
truly only imagine what educating my future children would be like, their potential as mine was seen, maybe
I would even apprentice them to Pascimius oh the very idea of it is rather a wonderful thing.

A return to the rift, a welcome home.

Dear diary,
I must say I am grateful for the thoughts of those within the rift of me, but mortal and non, that I have
been reinstated my position within the rift, and moreso as an elder, I can truly aid others within on
whatever they do need, though often it is only that they do ask for weaponry or magic, or truly just silence
as they work their spells, the latter the hardest for myself to perform but I do do that well enough. Sometimes.
There has seemed to be no further problems in reguards to my relationship with the Rhyme, thankfully
enough, oh I do hope to be a voice of wisdom and reason for him when necessary, but not continue like it
had before my removal. I was recieved warmly by the rest of the nexan rift, as per my return, and all that
I can say is they are all wonderful, and as an elder, partially all mine and I must take some credit for
their attitudes. What happened between myself and Grim does still weigh upon me, and soon I would like
speak to him in private. Though it may be best we do not bring it up, it may be the worst thing as well.

I am no longer Nexan

Dear diary,
A day I had feared comming as come to pass. Again I did feel need to speak against Grimthor.
This time not against his will to strip the village bare of their armors, but of his wish to limit our actions
we do against those that bear strength.
It is his will we do not attack lightwalkers, or darkwalkers, when the light and dark hold sway, unless
they hold sway greatly, and told me to read the books to what they say of this. I did fear I had to correct
him in this manner, the books do not say we cannot, only give guidance upon things we should do during
specific times. They do not state all things we can do, such a thing would take volumes for each.
I spoke to him this, though in lesser words if I recall, I stated to him the books do not mention we cannot,
only give guidance to things we should do in the least during these times, not all we can. I was left then
bereft of my position within the island, due to he said insubordination, that he is rhyme, that I will obey him.
He did not see or attempt listen to the council I offered. He is still lost in his rage. I fear for the rift
in the iron grip he does attempt, but even worse I fear for the rift now that I am not there to attempt
make him see clearly our way, and or the affects of what he would wish.
Partly as well I feel as if I have failed Pascinius, my elder within the sanctum. Oh I must go see him.
He is much wiser than I, I must know his words.

Dear diary,
I do fear for my rhyme, I do know he is perhaps not what I would have wished to follow, but
in reguards to teh rift I would follow him, but this is not one I do believe I will do so. He is
hot headed. Oh so hot headed, that he would want us all to strip the village bare of all their items.
Though there are two I do this with, Dhaath and Ruhktanshi, the others I do not do so. My own thoughts
are to the balance and none other it must be save my own research and thoughts. Vanity I do believe I have
little use for.. save I do love this staff!
my faith in the future is waning with his desire of pressing a war of vanity against the village.
I pray all you lords of the rift here in my heart since truly I have no idea where to pray to you at, save
my lord Twist, vanity I do fear plays little part of his religion, save he likely does like this staff!

Dear Diary,
I am saddened by my performance within the arena, it is very rare that my wrists have been broken by lerzion
in that fashion I do admit he is quite lucky, and the poisoned pen did wish me leave him be afterwards, his
words really did make me desire kill him. A small string of deaths so far afterwards has annoyed me. Three
villagers I was beating on gathered together to take me down, and a lich while I had been hurt killing the
destructor and drained. ooc slept through -35 saves. damn him :)
I am about to go lich hunting, but if ever anyone makes me lose this child, no matter the balance, his life
is forefeight.

Pregnancy, and a gift for eshval

Well.. I will announce soon to the rift first via emote then note that I am pregnant, I would just like
people to see the first stirrings in my stomach, well my reaction.
I will be making it a semi long pregnancy, about a weel rl, where will give a violent birth, if nothing done
immwise, or even if done, I will be slinging magic around anyone present. If I die, baby will die too, if not
then I will live, babies fate is up to you guys.
I remember a long time ago a couple being pregnant, and the female carrying around a baby item.
but another person was allowed to play said baby, which they eq'd in hero gear from level 1.
that was crap and I dont want that. If I can borrow other peoples teets as my char would say, or if eshval
wouldnt mind a vampiric type baby based upon what happened within her shrine, borrow peoples wrists to feed
the baby etc, it should grow up healthy, where I would like an imm take over it, allbiet a vampire child
berserk on a rampage with the bloodlust, anything, something. The reason for it is I would like to give back
something to you imms. Eshval the times you bit me, the interactions, bonuses and rayihn the same with you
and other imms have made this fun aside the competition me against everything that has power :)
crap even the duels against waris even though when he has his nightwalker I cant take him, though likely could
when he didnt, meh. I cant approach you in char or any imm in char about this I dont think, so putting it
here and hoping I get a big sign on teh forehead I can understand, and I will try to raise it in some direction
that way, until it is old enough for one of you to get to have fun with

long ooc update, outland stuff within, balance stuff etc

my first role entry marked sigh, I would like to say I have truly achieved what I set out to with balancing
the scales with the maran, and really did a number against the village, that no matter what else happens this
char has been a huge success with its goals from the start at level 3 written, as well as the little goals
such as oblits in melee combat, even hit an annihilate on a vuln shot a few times, but now more often than
not I find myself bored.. the balance is kept. I have made it a point not to hunt at all unless the blance
sways, though have been a terror when it has :) now... the only thing I have to do is beat on villagers,
and since its their younglings keeping the power in hand for the olders, its either let them have their head,
or take it and either hire other lowbies to come kill them, or give it to the empirials which could sway
the balance, or whatnot. I dont like that because it would be me purposely killing off people I cant fight,
seems cheap, but eh.. all those village gangings have taken its toll x.x oh well. mmmmm.
I would like to talk about the outlanders though, they are growing in strength, but that isnt it, it is a
specific outlander camridirinil. I have had few contacts with him aside me fighting against them in a 1v4
and killing one of them before escaping, and I believe another time out the west gate of galadon where I had
been fighting outlanders and lerzion.
This one kills me in an attack of opportunity, taxed myself too much fighting in a cursed area, no mana, moves etc. ends up killing me.
I dont mind, but afterwards goes completely ooc with insulting me and shit, and went rather bad with it.
so yeah, when chaos didnt bear strength after I unghosted, I told him I was going to kill him and take his
item, he didnt defend. I took the fetish and gave it to tribunal.
I will not sit here and let that slide, not after everything he said beforehand, and after to me. I cant hunt
him affectively either since he is camoed near all the time x.x.
I am going to write a note to outlander stating why I am going to be taking the fetish from them and giving
it to varius enemies, dependant upon the balance etc, and why they will not get aid if order bears strength.
There are two different cabals representing order, and not only that, there are other means of balancing
the scales, god I spent over 100 hours of this chars life talking about the balance, thinking on it to
a rather large understanding, accumulated to what i know over time. I am doing this only to get at this one
ranger and end him, i wont take that kind of insulting from anyone. I apologize now to all those that will
be affective, but in my note I will tell them it is him that is my target, and I am doing this to draw him
out and answer for it. Its like popping a zit, cant get the head out without alot of pressure. Eventually
even other outlanders will help me track him down just to get me off their back.
That is why I will be slaughtering outlanders and taking their item etc. I wanted it here in my role before
I really started this, so all you imms know.
and I will still be tending the balance of my own actions, I am more than aware that I cant let that suffer.
As a mort, this is the only way I can really see of doing this. please understand.
