Being a squire of the fortress for some time now, I can
draw some conclusions and write a small outlook on things within these walls.
For some reason it seems like there's not much direction or leadership,
even from Marans. I have staged and directed retrievals from the walls of Empire,
for example, because there was no one else to take that role.
Mopping the blood off the floor after a particular bloody fight in the Fort,
I was a little dismayed that some of our members don't work together
well enough, just running in one after another and then either dying or fleeing.
It seems to me that there could or should be seminars on battle tactics
when things are more or less quiet and planning when they are not.
I reckon we're lacking in that department, but perhaps am not old enough
yet and maybe there's something that marans don't share with me.
But in their place, I would always try to gather squires for a little chat.
Whether it's tactics to beat an anti-paladin for their rank and
profession, or what to do during a raid or retrieval, facing certain opposition.
I think regular things like that will immensely help the Fortress as a whole.
Our fight is hard enough as it is without needless deaths.
