Djabree jogged through the thick, dark forest north of Seantryn Modan, the
blood pumping in his veins. His wings were unsuable; covered in a
frustratingly annoying webbing, conjured upon him by the invoker he had just
fought. Defeated, but not slain by Djabree, the mage had been. The filthy
little thing had teleported itself into the fangs of a skyflash. Djabree was
quite satisfied, but yet left with a sense of dissatisfaction from not
getting to feel the wizard blood splattering across his face as he dealt the
final, skullcrushing blow. Good thing he had left his boat by the beach. He
needed to get back to the village to prevent an Imperial bard from restealing
the Codex. He did not like bards and their uncanny ability to mess with his
mind, didn't like it at all. He was training to steel his mind, but there was
still much for him to learn in that area. As he was working his way across
the stormy waves of the Aryth ocean, it was not only the desire to hunt that
drove him, but also a desire of victory, a lust to end this war once and for
all.
