Amethis

Mharr has faced a dark elven thief named Amethis since he was a teen in
his guild. Their first encounter, Mharr was too young to fight Amethis (22
at the time) and the thief killed the rest of Mharr's group. That was his
first encounter with an Imperial of any skill.

A few ranks later, Amethis and Mharr crossed paths when the gods let them
fight. Mharr killed Amethis once that night, and once the next. Amethis
kept fighting Mharr, and escaped very wounded many times. Once, amethis
knocked Mharr out, and tripped him down with another. Blood on both sides
... and respect to go around.

Mharr doesn't really stand for the bulk of the village treating Amethis
like shite. Frankly, he thinks they just fear him. Every damn day that
both Amethis and Mharr walk the lands, they ended up fighting repeatedly
.. and treating eachother with respect. Mharr constantly badgered Amethis
about how utterly worthless the rest of the Empire was, especially after
they died or fled an left Amethis to face tha hammer. He constantly
badgered Amethis about givin' up magic, and joining the village.

Well, Amethis' response was always that he served his lord and his empire
and that they gave him pleanty of blood and strong foes. FARG!role +
During a raid defense, just now, Mharr and two villagers defended against
Amethis and five imperials. Mharr killed Amethis, and send the rest
packing.

Evidently the Imperial gods didn't like that showing, and made Amethis an
Anathema. Not long after that, Amethis was hunting fargin' impies as
Mharr would say.... and when Mharr woke just now Amethis asked him how
to build a hut. Well farg me if Amethis hadn't killed a mage... AND
TALKED TER TAHREN! HAR!
