Description

A strangly slim dwarf is before you. He is nearly five feet tall, but
rangy to the point of gauntness. His bones stand out sharply beneath
pale skin, knobby knees and elbows displaying visible bone spurs. His
hair is coarse, appearing to have an almost metallic texture under its
dull black color. He is, almost defiantly, clean shaven. His eyes have
a spark to them, a glow of... something... flickering in their stormy
gray depths.

Backstory

Mharr was apprenticed to a slightly deranged dwarven brew-master. Odds
are the old bugger did some damage to himself experimenting with
strange recipes involving absinthe or something worse. The crazy old
coot thought that he was a reincarnation of the old dwarven invokers,
and that Mharr was his apprentice in magick.

Many beatings commenced, generally starting with the drunken old bastard
screaming Light the fargin candle! and ignoring all reality. Time
came and went, and sooner or later Mharr's bare-sark blood was pulled
to the fore. In an orgy of violent destruction, and spilled beer, he
slaughtered his master and destroyed the brewery.

In shame, he shaved off his beard. And refuses to speak on why, getting
quite sensitive when pressed. He pretends to snooty-ness about beer, but
has also sworn off ale in penance. He will sniff it when offered, and
call it swill before tossing it aside. He is also quite sensitive if
called out on the fact that he doesn't fargin' drink.

Mharr has quite the temper, and a sore spot when it comes to mages. He
mostly just feels the need to lash out in extreme violence at the
slightest excuse.

Battle

Mharr was inducted into the village not too long ago. He sought them out,
mostly to investigate the rumors of their bloodthirsty skull-crushin'
and found a set of kindred spirits. Since that time, he's done a fair
bit of rampaging about cracking mageskull, and he's really quite
content.

He still has not claimed his last name, nor regrown his beard. Nor had a
sip of ale.

Amethis

Mharr has faced a dark elven thief named Amethis since he was a teen in
his guild. Their first encounter, Mharr was too young to fight Amethis (22
at the time) and the thief killed the rest of Mharr's group. That was his
first encounter with an Imperial of any skill.

A few ranks later, Amethis and Mharr crossed paths when the gods let them
fight. Mharr killed Amethis once that night, and once the next. Amethis
kept fighting Mharr, and escaped very wounded many times. Once, amethis
knocked Mharr out, and tripped him down with another. Blood on both sides
... and respect to go around.

Mharr doesn't really stand for the bulk of the village treating Amethis
like shite. Frankly, he thinks they just fear him. Every damn day that
both Amethis and Mharr walk the lands, they ended up fighting repeatedly
.. and treating eachother with respect. Mharr constantly badgered Amethis
about how utterly worthless the rest of the Empire was, especially after
they died or fled an left Amethis to face tha hammer. He constantly
badgered Amethis about givin' up magic, and joining the village.

Well, Amethis' response was always that he served his lord and his empire
and that they gave him pleanty of blood and strong foes. FARG!role +
During a raid defense, just now, Mharr and two villagers defended against
Amethis and five imperials. Mharr killed Amethis, and send the rest
packing.

Evidently the Imperial gods didn't like that showing, and made Amethis an
Anathema. Not long after that, Amethis was hunting fargin' impies as
Mharr would say.... and when Mharr woke just now Amethis asked him how
to build a hut. Well farg me if Amethis hadn't killed a mage... AND
TALKED TER TAHREN! HAR!

Poison Pen's arena competition

Mharr entered a competition of Wits, Arms and Charm hosted by the
Poison Pen. In the arena he faced his fellow villager, Taasarin, in
the first round and defeated him handily. In the second round he fought
Thalujar, and destroyed him without a scratch. Third and final round
he faced Eostri, and destroyed him without a scratch. For these
victories he was named Arena Champion. HAR!

Mharr has fought often in the arena prior to this competition, and is
starting to take the identity of a pit fighter into his bearing. He
enjoys the designation Arena Champion and will attempt to live up
to it.

Mharr witnessed Sharillan, an elf warrior hero, kill Hect... another
berserker of the village. Mharr suggested tha farg'n elf pick on someone
yer own damn size and proceeded to challenge her in the arena. At level
37 he beat the hero twice in a row. HAR!
