Description

Cloaked nearly in entirety, a skinny figure of the elvish race is before you.
His ebony skin is young, wrinkleless from the trials of time. Though cloaked
long strands of silvery white hair flail from the top of his head down to his
chin. Dark blue eyes observe his surroundings, though you notice his left
eye twitches quite radically. On each of his garments, you see what appears
to be the Imperial Codex. His movements are silent, you are forced to keep
your eye on him not to lose sight. As he draws near, a pleasing odor allures

Chapter 1

The Test.

It was a test that separated Bhapyo from his peers. You see, the test
was one of loyalty. It served Imperia as a determinate of ones' faith
in the cause of Empire. The testee was required to swear the Oath and
leap into a lake with undercurrents that would deter storm giants even.
Noone could brave the currents and eventually would all drown. Of course,
the elders wouldn't have their young perish. Prior to going unconscious,
a transmuter of Imperia would cast the spell of gill growth to save the
testee. Since the young knew this and spread word of it to one another,
none truly feared the test.

Except on Bhapyo's day of judgement. The Gods have a funny way in shaping
the lives of mortals. That day, their transmuters failed and the gills
never came. The young were required to delve deep and recover a necklace
which had a charm of the Imperial Codex. Bhapyo began to feel overwhelmed
at the currents, expecting help that never came. In the distance, he saw
the necklace. As he lethargicly swam near it, he began invoking the name
of Lord Twist. Bhapyo faded unconsciously from exhaustion.

Three days later, Bhapyo awoke on the outskirts of the lake, necklace in
hand. He can only imagine Lord Twist intervened that day to save his life
and show a dedication unmatched by any Citizen in the history of Imperia.

When the Arcane Sect betrayed the Empire many eons ago, it left a bitter taste
for a few mages loyal to the words of Baelind Telthin. Left hunted by those of
the Empire and the betrayers, they scoured Thera for safe haven. Travelling a
continent away, they set up shop east of Arkham, uncharted territory for even
the saviest of travellers.

There they manifested a city much like any other under Imperial jurisdiction.
Imperial Laws applied and were enforced. The city of Imperial has now grown
self-sufficient. Trivian, claimer of the title High Arcanus, has chosen to send
his brightest pupil Bhapyo to the mainland as a delegate of Imperia.
