Description

A lithe five foot ten inches, this half-drow man stands with
ease. His quick precise actions give an air of confidence to
his posturing as he shifts to one position or the other. His slate
gray hair is streaked with bits of blonde which is all tied
back in a leather thong and the rest settles down the middle
of his back. His light armoring is well kept and seems to be
made just for him. A casual smile seems to accent strangely
chiseled features for one of his kind, and his green eyes hold an
intriguing firey light to them.

Well, here I am sittin' in some godsforsaken lair with some
dreadful-looking Sculptor. I'm probably going to fall here but,
the offer he gave me wasn't my style at all. He told me
that if I brought somebody back to take my place, I could go
free. I tipped my hat to him and said it wasn't possible seeing
as how it just wouldn't be right to have somebody take my place
to die. Sacrifice to the shadow is still sacrifice to the shadow,
and I just can't abide by that, never have.

So, now I'm sitting here, munching on some bread and drinking
some tea and whatnot waiting for my time, and I've gotten to
thinking about all of the things I've seen and experienced
firsthand. I've loved a few-Breallye, Sayuri, Therethine. I've fought
many more than that-The Empire, that bitch of a Hag, and counless
others including necrorapists and the like. When it's finally
my time to pass on to see my loved ones, I hope people remember
that I lived my life the way I thought it should be: With my back
straight, and my soul, pride, and integrity in tact. I've always
followed my passions and felt with my heart as much as possible.
I can never get in touch with Him face to face much, but I hope Arvam
always knows that he had a faithful fella in me.

Mav likes to drink, carouse and all things thought of unseemly by high society.
He is boisterous, bawdy, and a bit crude at times, but has a real soft spot
for the needy and impoverished. He loves to help those in need and will never
abandon his friends. As crude as he can be at times with women, he wants to
settle down with a good woman that he can trust. Despite his demeanor, Mav's
passions lie with hearth, home, and good drink.

Name: Mavinero Ss'sleath'aei
Place of birth: Darsylon

Mav grew up in Darsylon raised by his parents. His father a bladesinger in
the palace, and his mother an ex-priestess of a minor house from the underdark.
The odd combination that it was, his parents tried to teach Mav how to act
properly and how to behave within higher-society circles. Well, it just didn't
take. Mav constantly rebelled against the parents who loved and tried to care
for him. When he was old enough, he finally left his home in Darsylon and tried
to strike out on his own in the Theran academy. His father's son, Mav took to
weapons of war naturally. His mother wished him to become a bard and be a royal
singer in the king's choir, so she paid for plenty of singing lessons.
Once when he was in Seantryn before he joined the academy, he tried to sing to
one of the brothel women and so many were engorged with desire by his voice that
they they started fighting over him. Quickly before the madam of the brothel
could get her hands on him, he ducked out the back and now tries to stay away
from Seantryn as much as possible. He tries to hide the fact that he has some
talent in the areas of song.

Since then, Mav joined the academy and rose quickly within his guild thinking
that women like a good fighter type tp keep them safe. He joined the Heralds
because of one simple reason-a love of revelry, song, and good times. He now
strives to be named the best bartender in all of Thera.
