Quick action! Surprises! And a little backstory

Shubtar, a simple gnome, and Fadderth the mighty dwarf
were forever written into history when they ventured
into the instability of the Veil..and sounded the Horn
of Fate.
..
And of greed? Well, Shubtar was born under the sphere of
Greed. He enjoys good clothing, this is inescapable.
But what he found in the Bond and through the trials of
the Nexus are far greater than any smooth silk or
magical wand. He found friendship and loyalties he
thought himself capable of possessing. The goals
of the Nexus are his own and through the recent
occurances he fought for something greater than himself:
the fate of Thera herself. "Was there no other", he
though to himself as he and Fadderth braved the might
the Veil. Then, as the horn resonated through the lands
the sound echoed deeply into his soul. Shubtar was
reborn as he clasped the hand of Fadderth and they
were united through the strength of their bond.
..
There is a long road ahead for the Nexus and Shubtar
feels prepared to undertake the responsbilities and
do anything and everything in his power to ensure
that there is Balance, to make sure Magic always
exists...and perhaps gather some nice clothes and
a few coins, if there is time at the end of the day.
