The Ascension of Kobar Absal'Katuth

Kobar searched the world. He knew he was born for greatness, and he
would find that greatness within the ranks of the Imperial army. He
trained his mind, and body to perfection. He needed guidance in
his path to conquering these lands. Though his Emperor, Drogathar,
was a wise and leader reknown for his strength in combat, Kobar knew
his time would come. He followed his Emperor into combat against the
uncivilized hordes, and foolish followers of the light. Many a great
victory was had at their hands. Kobar's thirst for conquest grew with
each new day. His faith in Lord Rillan, the most High of High, never
faultered, and he relished in the spoils of war. He served his
emperor with unyielding loyalty. These lands knew the fear of the
sounds of imperial trumpets, and the brutal assaults that followed
their clarion call. All was as it should be, and then he heard the
news. Emperor Drogathar had taken his life, an honorable act. The
King was dead, Kobar though with a grin. Long live the King...
