My Early Years

Zimgli was like and unlike other gnomes from his small town of Hillcrest
where he grew up. He had a profound curiosity of all things like much of his
kin and was eager to learn more of everything beyond his small village. All
throughout his youth he explored not only books like many other gnomes but
the surrounding mountains and forests and even the occasional cave. Often
stepping where he should not as a youngster but he could not hold himself
back. As he came of age he found a way he could survive the many perils that
lie outside these walls and at the same time further his fascination of all
things in this great land and sea. Zimgli joined the transmuters guild and
with his new found abilities he packed his knapsack and ventured forth to the
great unknown. All of Thera was there to discover and he was eager to search
every part of it.
