(NOTES) Dark Ambitions

Quintalius has the following immediate and long term goals:

I) To join the Spire as instructed by his father. To learn
their ways and to find a means by which to manipulate them
in order to help him obtain greatness.

II) To master all forms of necromancy so that he might better
understand the dark arts to aid him in his Becoming which is
his highest aspiration. He saw how his father fought his whole
life for a Throne that he is now too old and frail to enjoy.
Quintalius will conquer death first and then he will claim
his lands and titles for all time.

III) Quintalius has created a secret order he refers to as
The Brimstone Society. This society is a pan-orderly group
of Thera's elite. He seeks to find Dark and Orderly members
from the Theran cabals to initiate into his Order. From this
secret society they will seek to bring the pillars of the
civilized world closer together. Quintalius foresees a day
when it will be the Brimstone Society, not the Imperial
Council, who chooses will be Emperor. When the council
members are nothing more than Societal puppets. When it
will be the Society who writes the songs sung in the Inn
and not the woodland bards. When the Spire will choose it's
Provost based on the Society's nominations.

The name of this group extends from the fact that they will
meet near the Hells. For Quintalius sees them as the ideal
model: a top-down, tiered, strict society led by a single
Master. This location is so close that the scent of sulphur
lingered in the air and stuck to Quintalius when he returned
to mainlands. This scent will be the only clue to the collusion
of the Society and it's members for anyone who speaks of the
club to non-members will be culled until they dwell within
the hells and not just near them.

IV) Quintalius seeks to earn the favor of Lord Destuvius and
intends to write about many of the above principles in order
to demonstrate his abilities as both a leader and a supplicant.
