While on his way to Voralia, which he had heard was as good as any place to start out in Thera,
not to mention that it was fairly close to the Fortress, he ran into a group of caravan guards who
guarding a merchantman's carts and wagon's to Hamsah. He traveled with them for a bit and they spoke
of many things and Baelen revealed to them why he was outside of his kingdom and heading to Voralia.
When he told them his story they readily agreed with the decision he had made, which made him feel
more at ease with himself and what he had done, then they started speaking of the Jaguar. A Goddess
who would also see what he did as good instead of something bad. He had heard of this Jaguar before
from others of the Guard, before his exile, but he didn't pay much attention to it. Now, speaking
with those guards of the caravan it made sense to him. He sought out Combat because this was the
sign he was born under, and so his entire childhood and his choices even up to the point of exile
suddenly made complete sense to him. He knew that he would eventually have to seek out this Baerinika
and speak with her, he had a feeling it would be an interesting meeting. Yet he would still have
to seek Her shrine out and then seek an audience. That was next on his list of goals to accomplish
and once he accomplished becoming a Squire then he would seek out Lady Baerinika.
