Diary of an Apostate

Met Lord Twist today. An honor turned sour. Deceiver, betrayer he names me.
Disdains me for the Pact of Night. Tried to explain. None other have will and
power do what must be done. Safeguard Magic from barbarian destroyers. Twist
will not hear it. Explained Night might never come, but feared death of all
Magic more likely. Twist will not hear. Values balance. Hates Ccul'gra.

What sane course is left when the Lord of Magic will not stand with Magic?

No way back for me, only forward. Plan will continue. Can my passion jolt a
God back to sense? Seems unthinkable, but if not, I must go it alone.

Apostate though I may be, my course can not waver. I choose Magic.
