864, Economy Update: Used Goods, Haggle, and more.

As of this reboot:

1) Acquiring an item from a shop by purchase or barter will no longer rob it of all its value. If you decide to sell or barter the "used" item later, you'll be able to do so, albeit at reduced value. One application of this is it makes it more sensible to buy basic gear to help you get fancier stuff, as you'll be able to get something back for it once you've replaced it with something better.

2) Haggle has been rewritten entirely after a serious flaw was discovered in its underlying math. (Notably, there were scenarios where a high Charisma was a drawback.) It is now less random in its effect-- you'll see a more consistent discount or bonus when buying or selling. It is also more strongly dependent on Charisma, and skills such as Prosperous Reputation have a more easily noticed effect now.

3) Some shopkeeper pricing margins had to be adjusted so that #1 was possible and practical.

4) Some shops have more "preferred" categories of goods. (These are categories that the shopkeeper will buy with cash, or will offer the best barters for.) This will be an ongoing process as more shops get reviewed.
