Subject: A Contest of Coins (January 16 at 7pm)

Coins are found almost everywhere you look. Be it in the minds of beggars,
the pockets of Paladins, or under the feet of rather unhappy Outlanders.

In this theme, a contest will be held tomorrow, January 16th at 7PM.
We will gather at the Inn of the Eternal Star.

This contest will let us witness and declare the most financially skilled
individual in Thera. Quite an important form of recognition.

In attending the event, bring the bare minimum of coins necessary to feed
yourself. As you will be forced to drop your coins when the contest actually
starts. And surely you wouldn't want to lose all the wealth you bring with
you, would you?

I look forward to seeing you there.

According to Morius, the event was a success.

Individuals gathered at the Inn of the Eternal Star, all hoping to compete in whatever the contest had planned. Those who showed up were Vul, Quinloc, Gilversplitz, Guaryaten, Polac, Ischer, Anyar, and Posatalis. Ischer and Vul did not take part, instead opting to observe for one blasphemous reason or another.

The rules were simple: drop all of your current coins, and then you have 15 minutes to gather as many coins as you can without using a bank or something similar.

The contestants dashed off, all working their time quickly, except for Gilversplitz who sat around because he is just unpredictable like that.

Posatalis went and murdered a strong dragon. Quinloc went and murdered a less strong dragon. The others found and sold what items they could, practicing both greed and mercantilism.

After the time limit expired, all the participants were gathered at the Inn. One by one, they handed their bounty to Morius, who counted the coin.

Anyar - 12,169 copper
Guaryaten - 10,619 copper
Posatalis - 53,178 copper
Quinloc - 58,790 copper
Gilversplitz - 25,140 copper

It is worth noting that Gilversplitz was reluctant to hand in his coin, likely embarrassed by his financial ineptitude.

The winners were announced, in order: Quinloc, Posatalis, Gilversplitz, Anyar, and Guaryaten.

Morius then thanked them all for their donations to the Vitiatic Church, properly recognized them for their support of his faith, and left.

With lessons learned, it is clear that the current most financially skilled individual around in Quinloc!
