25212, Inconsistent number of exclamation points when you die

So, when you die, you almost always get the message "You have been KILLED!!" (note the two exclamation marks).
However, when I died to rot, I only got one exclamation point, "You have been KILLED!". The only other time I've seen the 1 exclamation point message was when I died due to running out of mana under the affect of 'forget' as a shapeshifter.
