The Third Floor of the Tower
This level of the tower marks a definite shift in decor. The amber stone is
the same, but workbenches and tables here represent a haphazard array of
styles, with color schemes that conflict. Supplies have been stacked here and
there for quick transport--food, wine, clothing, weapons--and crude maps have
been drawn and tacked to the wall. Smoking pots of foul-smelling herbs sit
atop on the benches, with various drugs and chemicals scattered next to them.
What was once an elegant chamber is now a storage room for guerilla soldiers,
it seems. Lavish chairs and couches have been stacked at the rear of the room.
The light from the lanterns and the windows they hang from have been covered
in red cloth to give the room an ominous appearance. As with the other floors
of the immense tower, the stairs lead up and back down on the eastern side of
the amber stone building.

A Brightly Lit Alcove
An alcove has been formed out of the very stone of the tower itself. Not
noticeable from the outside, the room hums with a magical aura. A window
is set in the north wall of the tower, and it has a lantern hanging from
it set to illuminate the entire room with a arcane glow. A desk is set upon a
rug under the opening in the stone. Set into the eastern and the western walls
are doors that open into large rooms. The smell of dusty tomes come from the
west. A shimmering aura covers the eastern doorway.
