The feral pig is a medium-size hoofed mammal with a truncate, flexible,yet tough cartilaginous snout disc. Its coarse coat of black hair coversits body densely. A moderately long, lightly haired tail hangs limp fromits hindquarters. On either side of its mouth, its lower canines curveoutward and upward beyond its lips.
