A "Valentine's Day Massacre"In the days of old, the Ancients and the children ofThar-Eris, set aside a special day to celebrate theirlove of her. This jubilee was such a grand occasionfor all, that the Ancients thinned the veils separatingThar-Eris and the realms of light. On this particularday only, beings of other planes who were the beaconsof both light and love, would be permitted to experienceher love as well. Angels and Archons soared in the skiesside by side with the winged beasts of the air. Deepin the forests, dazzling lights combined with the soundsof regalement, offer a rare glimpse of the faerie folkdancing and celebrating with cherubim.However...Where there is love, also resides resentment. And ultimately hate...Several men dressed in priestly garb carry a decoratedkursi inlaid with gold and rare gems. A rapturous lookingman sits atop the carriage, remaining both still in actionand unspoken in word, as they usher him through a thickjungle. Behind the kursi, the silhouettes of dozens ofslaves trail idly behind in a slow march.Suddenly, the silence is broken.A rapturous voice echoes from atop the kursi."Let the massacre begin!"The slaves run off into the night as screams knell over andover again. Muffled sounds of agony and wailing penetratethe darkness and soon wane to empty silence.Loathing any aspect of Love and the fleshly constraints shackledby such an emotion, Emnon the Unspoken One has decreed that thisancient rite of blood flow once again upon the lands. At a placeof his choosing, the Heroes of Thera may entertain the UnspokenLord in a "Valentines Massacre".Flesh against flesh, until only one stands victorious. The date of the Massacre will be February 13th and will beginat 7:00pm system time. Rules for the Massacre will be sent outvia note prior to the event.
