***NOTE: This is much earlier than previous contests at 1pm server time in an attempt to see if a different crowd is able to attend, and because I won't be so sleepy, so make note of this!***Get your fingers, voices, and ears warmed up for the next Short Story Contest!All who are interested are welcomed to attend the Short Story Competition onthe 10th of June at 1pm as the Gods tell time at Lady Ishuli's Library.Please notice that this next contest is several hours earlier than the pastcompetitions. All are welcome to attend and listen to the stories but spotsfor competing are limited so get the title of your story to Saeorad toearly if you want to compete to confirm you spot! Lady Ishuli has againgraciously accepted the role of benefactor of this competition and willprovide the rewards for those who win.Basic Rules:1. Any topic or format, such as poems or parables, is allowed but itmust be between 8 and 30 lines in length and you must be able to recite it infive minutes time, so please be prepared prior. Also, please keep in mindthat presentation helps as much as content so don't go too slow or too fastin your recitation and feel free to use props or movement as aids.2. All attendees will vote for their first, second, and third favorite storiesat the end. To keep things fair and interesting participants cannot vote forthemselves, however. You do not need to be a participant to vote, though youwill need to be present for all stories so get there early!3. You can ask someone to be your proxy and tell your story for you if youcannot make it, however those present will take priority in the case of toomany entries and those who proxy cannot tell their own story.The entire contest will take approximately one hour. At the end, all inattendance will have until another half hour has passed to make known theirvotes to Saeorad.
