RE: The way i would make my own verdict about an air/water shapeshifter attacking paladin Magistrate on duty.
Magistrates of Blood Tribunal have manacles power. It gives really HUGE - dex affect, like 2 different warrior maladaction skills and maybe also - a lot of dr.

Air/water shapeshifter is only limited to using air form in city, what was pretty weak in this case - the vulture. Manacles should simply something like destroy the only ability to block for vulture - dodge skill. And there are also 2 guardians to hit a lot after those manacles.

I am not sure about -dr affect, but if it is true then it would really weaken vulture even more because flying forms don't have so much dr.

At the same time the vulture can't do anything effective against paladin at all simply because the paladin has so much damage reduction and an air form vulture doesn't hit much.

It was very easy fight for Tribunal paladin and very hard fight for an air/water shapeshifter. And if air/water shapeshifter kept attacking someone who is stronger than him then he only deserved the good immortal comment for doing this.

Also keep in mind that any neutral sword spec warrior could come to the city, perma-lag paladin to death with bash and then raid him. Then kill him again few times when he was trying to retrieve and then raid again.

Whom would you prefer that Magistrate paladin to fight and practice how to PK? And why did he become hero at all if he wasn't ready to fight one of the weakest possible combinations in CF?

He got one of the easiest possible pk practices without much risk when compared to the other possible scenarios.

Also we don't know the IC-RP-story of the hatred between Buereunus and that poor paladin. Sometimes YOU really weaken some characters ONLY because they don't speak well enough with you. Do you imagine what crap mortals tell to each other sometimes? Some people are ready to kill some characters even when they are in the same cabal - a battle for example.

And you also know it very well that such negative comment for something what actually deserved the positive immortal comment would ruin the impression about the character. And that character was an arial water/air .... something very unique and weak.
But instead of giving him something little or something big for his efforts - he gets 2 negative immortal comments. One comment is for doing everything good and another comment for doing the same thing what the writer of that imm comment did recently by himself as mortal.

Just like a spit into the heart of a person in RL ... not a character because those imm comments are for those who read it when the character dies.

It is often very hard to make good verdict about any given situation because you need to know everything about pk-side of the situation and also everything about the rp-side of the situation - their full story and why and how much these characters now hate each other.

And most importantly - who recieved _at least damn anything at all_ from this?

CF would only win if you stop affecting people negatively and only concentrate on rewarding those you like. There are some unique exceptional situations of course .... but many Imms should think together about the #### they notice from the same player for a long time before doing anything bad at all to him, even negative immortal comment.
