I forgot to write a brief summary of the riddle event we had on 3/10/19!

A strange cloaked figure, who spoke in rhymes, bothered Therans individually - one by one - asking them riddles.

Some got them correct, others not so much.

The riddles are below. If you think yourself clever, post your answers to them!

Tip: ALL OF THEM DEAL WITH CF/THERA. They are a person, place, or thing.






1) I never slumber in the yard of lumber, though bearded and stubborn am I.
Who am I?

2) If it shines unending in the sky, as intoxicating to the body as the eye...
Where am I?

3) Locked away like a princess but often the captor, as black as midnight, my treasure you're after.
Who am I?

4) We spread and grow slowly, as does our lore, and when we fall we love to spray spores.
What am I?

5) More torn by war in the depths than above, death awaits with an unending siege thereof.
Where am I?

6) A ghostly ball with a full crowd, with housed diplomats sometimes as loud...
Where am I?

7) You'll find no comfort in my lair, which hides beneath smells so rotten that orcs barely compare.
Who am I?

8) Tiny I may be but I am also pointed, I leave all elves I meet quite disappointed.
What am I?

9) I prance around the city all day shutting the gate. But I do a good job managing the state!
